Success for Our Clubhouse: Supporting the Pittsburgh Community

Tony Ryan October 21, 2019

You may remember a few weeks ago, when I blogged in this space about our initiative to support Our Clubhouse. (You can read the previous blog here.) Our Clubhouse is a local organization, located about three blocks from our head office in Pittsburgh, whose mission is to offer free social, emotional and wellness support to those in our region touched by cancer.

We decided to take action, by raising funds as part of the Our Clubhouse “Over the Edge” event. The idea was very simple: if we hit our fundraising goal, we were going to send our CEO, Mike Coney, to rappel down the 26-story Oliver Building in Downtown Pittsburgh.

I’m pleased to be able to report that we succeeded! In total, every company and individual that participated raised $41,115 for Our Clubhouse. Voci Technologies raised $3,320, making us the top team!

That means that Mike rappelled down the Oliver Building. And we have proof: see the video below.

You can also click here to view a photo album from the day, put together by our friends at Our Clubhouse. (Photos of Mike are on page 10.)

Thanks to everyone who supported us and this great cause!
